School Uniform
School uniform is mandatory and must be worn by all pupils at all times.
There are no exceptions to the dress code at Sherbourne unless agreed in advance for a specific trip or activity or for a child’s particular medical/physical needs.
Primary, Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 - The uniform/dress code is a navy or white plain collared shirt/polo-shirt and a plain navy jumper/ cardigan/sweatshirt. Plain black/grey trousers or knee-length skirts.
Post 16 - The uniform/dress code is a white plain collared shirt/polo shirt and a plain black jumper/ cardigan/sweatshirt. Plain black/grey trousers or knee-length skirts.
Gym shorts/cycling shorts are not permitted at school even in the summer.
Black blazers have been requested by some pupils to be part of the uniform and are now optional.
It is not compulsory to have the school logo on any item of clothing, but if you wish to purchase these items, they can be bought from Andy Blair’s School Wear (Details below)
Smart jogging bottoms are acceptable if a pupil needs to wear them for ease of changing.
Sweat shirts with large/obvious logos will not be permitted even if they are in the correct colour.
Black school shoes/boots or plain black trainers must be worn.
